Humphrey Davy
Electricity and Electro-Chemical Fields
Born December 17, 1778 in Penzance, Great Britain and died May 29, 1829 in Geneva Switzerland.
Sir Humphrey Davy was a Physicist and Chemist, proposing the electrochemical theory of chemical affinity. He also developed the nature and number of the chemical elements. Determined the relationship and dependence of electrical resistance based on the length and cross-section of the wire conductor. Included is the temperature dependency of the electrical conductivity.
